Question by A life of sacrifice.: How was Haiti’s political structure like BEFORE its independence in 1804?
I am doing a project about Haiti’s Independence, and so far I have found most of the information I need but I can’t find much about its “previous political structure” — that is, prior to its independence and consequent reforms.

I dont know but its gotta be better than its been since 1804. Its the only place in the Carribbean I would not visit.
